I started TaeKwonDo when I was 3 years and 5 months old, and I've been training/practicing 6 days a week without fail (even when we were on vacation!) since I started.
My parents told me I took my first steps when I was 13 months old, which means I spent more than 78% of my ENTIRE "walking" life training TKD. Isn't that cool? :)
I love TKD because I have so much fun with my friends learning new kicks and forms. It also helps me to be a leader by setting good example for others with a focused mindset in everything I do, as I think about 5 tenets of TKD to recite and apply in my daily life!
In case you didn't know, these are 5 TaeKwonDo tenets:
1) Courtesy: Consider Others Before Yourself, 2) Integrity: Show Truth in Your Actions and Words, 3) Self-Control: Think Before You Act and Speak, 4) Perseverance: Never Give Up, Always Keep Trying, 5) Indomitable Spirit: Face Your Fears Confidently!
